Your booking is confirmed when you pay your $550 non-refundable deposit.

Guests are strongly advised to obtain full travel insurance covering all medical expenses, retreat activities and a trip cancellation policy in case of a personal emergency that will prevent you from attending, or in the unlikely event that the retreat is cancelled.

Payment Policy

1. Payment must be received in full by the date specified on the booking form.

2. If payment of the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit as we will have paid the deposit to the course facility.

3. The guest is responsible to pay for all extra services not included in the selected retreat package. This includes flights, travel insurance and any sightseeing activities that are not part of the course.

Cancellation Policy

1. It is the responsibility of the guest to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation.

2. In the event of cancellation by the guest, regardless of the circumstances, the following refund fees apply

   • $550 is required as deposit, which is non-refundable.

   • Cancellation 90 days or less before arrival date, full refund less the deposit amount, if your space can be filled. If your space cannot be filled, 0% will be reimbursed

   • Cancellation more than 90 days before due arrival date, full refund less the deposit amount, if your space can be filled. If your space cannot be filled, 50% of the total fee will be reimbursed.

     Special consideration will be given in exceptional circumstances

3. In the highly unlikely event that Kirstie Missenden is unable to offer the course, we will reimburse training fees. Other costs incurred, apart from the training (trainer’s) fee, will not be reimbursed (including hotel accommodation and food costs) unless we are able to recoup these costs from the course retreat facility. Whatever costs can be recouped from the retreat facility will be passed on to guests.

4. Should we need to cancel due to insufficient attendees, all fees paid to Kirstie Missenden will be returned. However, we cannot cover the cost of flights/ other transport/ activities organised by the attendee.

5. Due to costs, we cannot offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early. This includes unforeseen issues such as family-related illness, or COVID diagnosis.

Liability

1. Kirstie Missenden shall not be liable for any unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our normal control, which the consequences of could not have been avoided even when exercising all due care. Such circumstances or events include, but are not limited to, pandemic outbreak, war or threat of war, riot, civil unrest, industrial disputes or strikes, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors, unavoidable technical problems with the accommodation, transport or closure or congestion of airports, terrorist activity, natural disasters, industrial disasters, fire, theft, flooding and adverse weather conditions. In the event of any the above, refunds and compensation payments cannot be made.

2. Kirstie Missenden accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury (physical or psychological) or illnesses which may be received during the guest’s stay or travelling to and from a course. All guests must take responsibility for their own medical and physical fitness and able to use hotel facilities and participate in activities.

3. While all care is taken, Kirstie Missenden cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of guests.

Data Use and Protection

1. Consent will be requested before taking or using photographs/ film of participants during the course, for Marketing purposes.
