Supporting psychologists + therapists to learn and integrate somatic approaches into clinical and personal practice
welcome
If you are anything like I have been, you might be feeling a little stuck in your practice, finding that some clients get so far in therapy but can’t seem to make deep and lasting change. You might be frustrated with the limits of what we have to offer, and feeling that there is something missing. You might even be feeling close to burn out and exhaustion, from having been carrying the weight of responsibility for so long.
Or you just might be inspired by the resurgence of interest in and the scientific validation of the importance of what is held in our bodies.
Either way, you’re in the right place!
These courses offer smaller group, supported, deeply relaxing and inspiring ways of coming to know somatic work (work that includes the body), from the inside out.
There are many brilliant courses in somatic work appearing online or in large conference groups with Master trainers, who have inspired these trainings. The courses presented here integrate such knowledge and present the scientific underpinnings of somatic work while also supporting experiential practices and deep reflection in a way that only smaller group settings can.
What you learn won’t replace your current ways of working, but you will leave with powerful tools and a deep respect for the body, which will enhance your practice and support your clients (and perhaps yourself!) in deeper healing.
I hope you find what you are looking for here. I look forward to meeting you!

Meet Kirstie
I am a Clinical Psychologist, Somatic Therapist, Trainer and Mentor, with over 25 years of experience in working with adult clients in a wide range of settings and with a variety of issues. I am passionate about Somatic work, which revitalised my own practice and has supported my clients (and myself!) in making deep, lasting changes and creating new, compassionate relationships with themselves and others.
I believe
That our bodies are the ‘missing link’ in our healing; they contain our greatest pains and traumas, waiting to be transformed, and our deepest wisdom which, when given a compassionate, safe space, moves us towards wellbeing.
